The mission of the Maryland Oystermen Association begins with oyster revitalization and looking for alternative shell sources. We also wish to support an age-old industry that's a very important part of Maryland's economy, heritage, and social well-being. Our final goal is to unite the oyster industries with the bay user groups and consumers of quality local seafood through education and positive image about oyster revitalization.
